Pharmacy Technology

Pharmacy technicians work alongside pharmacists to prepare and dispense medications in retail pharmacies and medical facilities (1). Get the training in as few as 9 months.
Dental Assisting
Dental assistants help keep dental offices running smoothly. They support hygienists and dentists during procedures, sterilize equipment, and help patients feel at ease in the chair (2). Carrington College’s Dental Assisting program covers everything from anatomy, physiology, and radiography to dental procedures, front-office operations, and patient care. Earn your Certificate of Achievement in as few as 9 months.
Registered Nursing (RN)
Registered nurses are at the heart of patient care, coordinating treatments, educating patients and families about health conditions, and providing the guidance and compassion that makes a difference during difficult times (3). Carrington College’s Associate Degree in Nursing program is designed to prepare you for RN licensure*, and can be completed in as few as 23 months.
Practical Nursing (LPN)
Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) are entry-level professionals who provide basic medical care under the direction of registered nurses and doctors (4). Carrington College’s Practical Nursing program builds the knowledge and hands-on skills needed to deliver patient care across a wide range of healthcare settings. Earn your Practical Nursing certificate in as few as 12 months.
Medical Assisting
Medical assistants perform administrative and clinical tasks in physicians’ offices, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities. They may take vital signs, record patient histories, and manage scheduling, all in a single role (5). Earn your Medical Assisting certificate in as few as 9 months.

Our Albuquerque, N.M., campus is centrally located just west of I-25 on Menaul Boulevard. Transportation is readily available, with the campus conveniently located near the 8 bus stop at Menaul Broadbent.

Carrington College Albuquerque offers almost 35,000 square feet of space tailored to hands-on training and one-on-one interaction between instructors and students. The campus provides fully equipped science labs and a simulation lab that uses computerized human patient simulators and custom-designed scenarios to help students develop skills and build confidence.
